Your new resource for all things wine!
The founders Danielle & Jason Lyons are avid wine lovers and sommeliers. Jason was born and raised in Washington state where he enjoyed visiting the amazing wine country there. He started his passion for wine by talking with the wine makers and learning about the wine region in Lake Chelan. He then turned his sites on making wine and was the assistant winemaker at an award winning winery in Washington state. Danielle was the Tasting Room Manager at the same winery, and left a lasting impression on the patrons there from her vast knowledge, passion and love of wine. The picture on the right is of the both of them helping harvest the award wining, estate grown, Pinot Noir grapes from the Puget Sound AVA. They moved back to Ohio, where Danielle was born and raised, and started The Wine Coupe. The Wine Coupe is their way of staying in the wine industry and sharing their love and passion for wine, food and music with everyone else.
The origin for the name The Wine Coupe comes from the picture of the building above. This building was an old chicken coupe on Danielle's parent's property. Even though it was originally a chicken coupe it was never used for that. Danielle's parents cleaned out the building and used it as a gathering space for family parties and eventually became the hangout place for kids and their friends. Today it continues to be a place where the family and friends get together to play music and spend time together.

This is the embodiment of what Danielle & Jason want to culminate for their business when they open their storefront. A place where everyone is welcomed and there to socialize and have a good time. To listen to music, drink wine and enjoy good food.
The passion for music runs deep as Jason has played the drums in several bands throughout his life. Danielle's family is also very musically inclined, and continue to play music to this day. If you notice, the theme of music for The Wine Coupe runs seamlessly through everything that they do. They also have music recommendations that they add on every review. To them sharing wine, music and food with family and friends brings happiness to the world. They feel the best way to get to know people is by sharing these experiences with others, and that's what they'll strive to do with The Wine Coupe!
